Administrative Assistant
Beth Laverty
Originating in British Columbia, Beth's ministry family has moved from Camp Ministry across Canada before settling into the ministry at the Muskoka Bible Centre.
Most recently the assistant office manager of the Muskoka Bible Centre in Ontario, Beth brings several years of administrative experience from Christian bookstores and resort office management.
Beth and her husband Josh have 2 children (Malachi and Jessica) that bring them joy and no pets - because Josh is allergic to them.
As parents of 2 children, she and her husband are filled with passion and joy for the ministry of Christ's church.
Beth's contagious smile will be there to greet you throughout the week when visiting JUBC.
Director of Children's and Family Ministries
Carolyn Clark
You won’t find many people as excited about children’s and family ministries as Carolyn. Her passion is largely connected to her personal direction as a wife, mother of 11 children and homeschooling mom. She has also been blessed with 12 grandchildren. Beyond that, she is completely capable, having received a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education, with a minor in teaching. Carolyn desires to encourage the church and parents to invest into the spiritual and practical direction of children.
Originally from Ontario she has encountered many pastoral/church opportunities. She has been involved in VBS, Discovery Groups and Youth Ministries in churches in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. She has been a pastor’s wife for over 25 years.
Carolyn is married to her husband Graham (41 years) and enjoys country living with her dog Panda.
Lead Pastor
Stephen Page
Stephen initially joined the Jacksonville family in 2011 as the youth pastor. Eventually, his role shifted to Associate Pastor, where he served by giving leadership to youth, worship, and other ministries for a number of years. In October 2023, he was called into the role of Lead Pastor.
Prior to serving in Jacksonville, Stephen served in camp ministry and swung a hammer as a carpenter. He loves working with youth, which is evident as he continues to play a large role in leading our youth group and drives bus throughout the school year.
God has blessed Stephen and his wife Becky with four children (Kalia, Lily, Laney, and Russell), and together they enjoy many outdoor pursuits, from canoeing and cross-country skiing to making maple syrup with family and friends. They are also fond of leaving modern conveniences far behind and calling it “camping.”
Associate Pastor
Wayne Callaghan
Wayne joined our staff team in November 2025, having served for eight years as a solo pastor.
Originally from Saint John, NB, Wayne holds a BA in Religion from Kingswood University and is completing his Master of Divinity at Acadia Divinity College, graduating in May 2026.
He is married to Hannah, and God has blessed them with three children—Paisley, Micah, and Keziah.
